– マックス マーラとは –
「Max Mara（マックス マーラ）」は1951年にAchille Maramotti（アキーレ マラモッティ）によって創立されたレディースウェアの企業が始まりで、数年後にブランド名を「マックス マーラ」としてスタートさせた。マラモッティの曾祖母はテーラーを経営、母親は裁縫学校を創立している。
1969年に「スポーツマックス」をスタート。
現在はメインラインの「Max Mara（マックス マーラ）」、「SPORTMAX（スポーツマックス）」をはじめ「Weekend Max Mara（ウィークエンド マックス マーラ）」等をライン展開している。
